COURSE MAPS AND DESCRIPTIONS Maps for The Fall Classic Run are available below. The courses offer enjoyable and safe running routes, and offer a unique challenge to every runner. Spectators will find that the courses provide many opportunities to cheer on the competitors. 5 Kilometer Run The 5Km Race starts and finishes on the Northern side of Menomonee Falls High School on Franklin Drive. The 5 Km run is a single loop course with a few different vantage points for your family and friends to watch the race and to cheer you on to a fast time. The course is downhill for the first mile, and has rolling hills and flat sections in the second and third miles. The run is both challenging and rewarding for the runners and spectators. 10 Kilometer Run The 10Km Race also starts and finishes on Franklin Drive on the Northern side of Menomonee Falls High School. The 10 Km run is a two-loop course that follows the 5 Km race on the first loop. The second loop of the 10 Km race substantially follows the first loop, with an additional inner loop on Oxford Street and MacArthur Drive. The 5Km and 10Km runs have been designed to maximize competition and spectator viewing. In particular, the 10 Km race can be viewed multiple times without having to walk or run very far from the Start/Finish area. In doing so, the spectators can greatly increase the competitive environment and can generate an electric atmosphere for the runners. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
