We hope you can join us for The Fall Classic Run and help make The Run a premiere race in Wisconsin. We also hope that you enjoy your race experience as much as possible!
The Fall Classic Run is directed by a competitive runner, and is first and foremost a competitive event that supports a great charity, the Razor Sharp Minds Foundation, which makes The Run a unique and exciting event. Walkers are welcome in the 5 Km race.
A Different Running Experience
The Fall Classic Run is a rare running experience because it caters to those who enjoy competition and a great environment, all while supporting a great cause, finding a cure for Alzheimer's disease and dementia through the Razor Sharp Minds Foundation, a non-profit corporation.
As one of the few 10 Km races in Wisconsin, The Fall Classic Run fills a void in the road racing scene in Wisconsin. The Run also has an unequaled 5 Km race for those who enjoy the shorter distance. The 10 Km and 5 Km races follow undulating, scenic courses through Menomonee Falls, with great views of the Menomonee River and the surrounding neighborhoods. Both races provide the competitor and the spectator with an unparalleled experience.
In addition to supporting a great charity, the Razor Sharp Minds Foundation, the race is first and foremost designed with the competitor in mind. The 5km and 10km courses are challenging and uniquely rewarding to the competitor, and provide ample opportunities for spectators to cheer on the competitors.
Registration Fees and Course Certification
The registration fee for the 5 Km race is $13 before October 15, 2010, and $15 thereafter. The registration fee for the 10 Km race is $17 before October 15, 2010, and $20 thereafter.
Although The Fall Classic Run is not currently certified, be assured that the 5 Km and 10 Km courses are accurate. Both courses are separately and accurately measured based on USATF guidelines. Depending on Village approval, the 2010 Run may be certified.
Please note that the roads on which the courses traverse will remain partially open. Cones will be used to mark the outer boundary of the route. Please follow the instructions of the Volunteers and the Village police for a safe and enjoyable experience.
When
The Fall Classic Run is scheduled for Sunday, October 24, 2010.
For 2010: The 10Km race starts at 10:30 A.M., followed by the 5Km race at 10:40 A.M. The courses will be open until approximately 12:00 P.M.
Start/Finish Areas
The Start/Finish for The Fall Classic Run will be near the Menomonee Falls High School. Parking is available near the school. Please refrain from parking along the race course, if possible.
2010 Awards
The Awards Ceremony will be conducted as soon as possible to minimize your wait. We appreciate your participation in the Awards Ceremony. Awards will be presented to the following people:
Top Three 5Km/10Km Runners (Male and Female)
Prizes presented to the top two runners (male and female) in these age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+.
Free entry into next year’s race for three randomly selected Finishers in each race.
Door Prizes: You must be present at the Awards Ceremony. Door prizes include gift certificates for running apparel, shoes, and accessories, discounts on running apparel, shoes, and accessories, as well as other great items.

Runners are timed and scored by WISCONSIN RUNNER TIMING SYSTEMS. Check the Post-Run page for more information.
Miscellaneous
Restrooms will be available near the Start of the 10 Km and 5 Km races. In view of feedback from competitors in 2009, we will provide additional facilities for the 2010 Run.
There will be one water stop on the 5 Km course at approximately 1.5 miles. The same water stop will be used for the 10 Km course, providing two water stops at approximately 1.5 miles and 4.6 miles.
